Project Souls is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada, dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to the city's most vulnerable populations. Established as a ministry extension of the Oakey Boulevard Church of Christ, Project Souls operates out of a dedicated facility on Oakey Boulevard, transforming a physical structure into a sanctuary of healing, recovery, and practical support.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between temporary relief and long-term restoration. We recognize that homelessness and addiction are often symptoms of deeper spiritual and community fractures. Therefore, we adopt a holistic approach that cares for the body, the mind, and the spirit.
Our core operations focus on three pillars of service:
Humanitarian Outreach: We provide immediate relief to the homeless community through nutritional support and essential resource distribution. By meeting basic physical needs, we build the trust required to guide individuals toward stability.
Recovery Support: We serve as a safe harbor for those battling substance abuse. By hosting peer-led support groups—including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA)—we provide the critical infrastructure and safe environment necessary for the recovery community to thrive.
Spiritual & Pastoral Care: We offer non-clinical, faith-based counseling and mentorship. Our pastoral team provides spiritual guidance, biblical education, and life-skills coaching, helping individuals navigate the emotional and spiritual debris of trauma and addiction.
Unlike strictly secular agencies, Project Souls operates on the conviction that true transformation requires a change of heart. Unlike strictly religious institutions, we open our doors as a community hub for practical recovery meetings and daily sustenance. We are not just a church; we are a lifeline—providing the space, the resources, and the compassionate community needed to help our neighbors fix their lives and find their way home.
